JV Head Coach & an Assistant Coach – Westfield High School Girl’s Lacrosse

Westfield High School is seeking a Junior Varsity Head Coach and an Assistant Coach for our Girls’ team.  We are seeking someone with uncompromised integrity and the highest moral and ethical standards.  These are both paid positions. 

Qualifications:

We believe in developing athletes to be leaders in life, not just on the athletic field. We believe in building relationships with athletes and parents. We believe that education-based athletics is the cornerstone in developing high school students and preparing them for after high school. The ideal candidate shares these beliefs and prior playing experience is preferred. 

Who We Are:

Westfield High School is a progressive, innovative, and growing school. Westfield-Washington School Corporation is dedicated to affording academic and athletic opportunities to all its students. The school is experiencing steady growth and has a current enrollment of 2,700.  Projections for the next several years sees WHS topping out at around 3,200 students.

Winning Program:

Westfield Girls Lacrosse were 1A State Champions in 2019 and 1A State Runner up in 2021. The program has quickly become one of the top programs in the state of Indiana.

School Sanctioned Varsity Sport:

Starting in the 2022-23 school year, Girls Lacrosse will be a school sanctioned varsity sport at WHS under the WHS Athletic Department. Although it is not considered an IHSAA sport, Westfield will view and treat Girls Lacrosse as though it were, and support and fund the program no differently than other IHSAA sports at WHS.

Assistant Coach - North Central High School Women's Lacrosse Club

The NCHS Women's Lax Club is looking for an energetic individual to be an assistant coach for our club.  An individual with experience as a women's lacrosse player is the ideal candidate.  You will be working with our head coach to grow our program and foster an energetic, supportive, and inclusive team environment.   If you are interested in this opportunity to help develop our program and work with a group of fantastic and enthusiastic young lady athletes, please send inquiries of interest to .  

 

Assistant Coach, Center Grove Trojan Lacrosse, Women’s High School

Position Overview:

Center Grove Trojan Lacrosse currently has an opening for Assistant Coach of the High School Women’s Team.  Our team continues to improve year on year, and we are looking for an assistant coach to support this trend. Our 2019 season was 4 wins and 9 losses, there was no 2020 season due to COVID, 2021 was 10 wins and 7 losses, and the 2022 season finished with 13 wins and 4 losses, including two Class 1 sectional games. This is a paid position.

Key Objectives/Deliverables of Assistant Coach:

  • Support the head coach in development of players’ lacrosse skills
  • Partner with coaching staff to coordinate practice drills
  • Support the game day strategy
  • Maintain coaching eligibility and compliance with rules and regulations established by Center Grove High School and US Lacrosse

Basic Requirements:

  • Previous college level experience playing Women’s Lacrosse
  • Ability to effectively communicate with players, parents, and Head Coach
  • Availability during the spring season 5-6 days/week for practices and games
  • Availability during the fall and winter season 1-2 days/week for team practice and youth clinics

Organization Overview:

Center Grove Trojan Lacrosse is a non-profit club, located in Greenwood, Indiana, immediately south of Indianapolis.  Center Grove Trojan Lacrosse’s objective is to develop and maintain a properly supervised lacrosse league for elementary, middle and high school youth while emphasizing players’ skill development, understanding of the history, rules, and strategy of lacrosse, and development of athleticism.  Additionally, the club promotes improved community relations by demonstrating an interest in the youth of our area, encouraging physical and mental growth through keen competition, emphasizing both good citizenship and scholastic achievement, and nurturing good sportsmanship and a sense of fair play.

 

Varsity Head Coach, Harrison High School Girls Lacrosse, W. Lafayette IN.

HHS Girls Lacrosse is seeking interested individuals for a Varsity Head coaching position with both the varsity and JV teams.  The individual should have previous playing experience and all around strong knowledge of the game.  Focus will be on skill development and establishing strong fundamentals.  At present, it is an unpaid volunteer position although a small stipend might be available.  If you would like to give back to the game, send a letter of interest and background to:
