Munster Varsity Head Coach

Munster Lacrosse is a non-profit Lacrosse club located in Northwest Indiana on the border of Indiana and Illinois. The Club is entering its 4th season. We have a Boys HS Team, Girls HS Team and Boys and Girls Youth teams. Our Girls HS team is looking for a head coach for the upcoming Spring 2020 season.

The season schedule has been set and the board is extremely supportive of our Coaches which allows them to focus on the student-athletes. This position is open to experienced coaches and former lacrosse players that are looking for an opportunity to start their coaching career. Responsibilities: Supervision and instruction of student-athletes during all team activities A passion in working with student-athletes and proper training of sport specific area Coaches are responsible for roster management, game day operations, score reporting

Assistance of maintenance and inventory of team uniforms and equipment Assistance in the promotion of balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes Applicants for athletic positions must possess a valid Driver’s License. This is a part-time, stipend position. US Lacrosse Membership required (paid for by Club) that includes the mandatory US Lacrosse Background check and Level 1 certification for first year coaches, Level II for all other coaches (all paid for and reimbursed by the club)

  • Committed to serve as an exemplary role model for the student athletes and the lacrosse community

  • Intense desire to create a culture where all players are valued equally

  • Facilitate some off season workouts to include summer/fall workouts

  • Ability to communicate well with players, parents, and other community members
